Services to Members of the Bar

Find out about all the services the WMU-Cooley libraries have for members of the Bar.

Document Delivery Service

For a nominal fee, the WMU-Cooley Law Libraries provide a document delivery service for members of the Bar. When you use this service, be sure to supply us with a complete citation. You must also agree to comply with federal copyright laws in making these requests. For additional information, please visit our document delivery page here or visit our contact page here to contact a WMU-Law library near you.

Electronic Resources

The library subscribes to a variety of electronic resources (such as Lexis Nexis Digital, and WestlawNext Patron Access). Most sources are IP based and available only from a WMU-Cooley networked PC. To view a list and description of the electronic resources available to you, please visit our electronic resources page here.

Reference Services

The libraries have reference librarians who are happy to help you with your research questions. The reference desk is staffed seven days a week during the school term, and the Library is open 106 hours per week for your convenience. Our e-mail reference service, Ask A Librarian, is available 24 hours a day.  You may also reach us via our toll free reference number: 1-866-REF-DESK (1-866-733-3375).

Research Guides

To further assist you in your research, the WMU-Cooley Librarians have created and continuously maintain a number of research guides on a variety of legal topics. The annotated research guides assist researchers in identifying useful print, electronic and internet sources pertinent to their legal issue. Find a list of Research Guides here
