Western Michigan University Cooley Law School’s Tampa Bay, Florida campus invites applications for a full-time Visiting Professor for fall 2019. This is a one year position with the opportunity for a tenure track position after one year. We are interested in hiring a professor in the Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Criminal Procedure subject areas.
Relevant experience in teaching and practicing in these areas of law is preferred as well as a willingness and ability to engage in innovative teaching methods. Candidates must be committed to teaching excellence. Applicants must possess a J.D. with an excellent academic record. We highly prefer candidates with Florida law license and strong connections to the legal community in the Tampa Bay metropolitan area. Appointment and rank will be commensurate with experience and is subject to faculty approval.
