Cooley Law School, with locations in Michigan and Florida, seeks a Network Analyst. This position is located at the Tampa campus in Riverview, FL.
The Network Analyst will manage, operate, and support networks and audiovisual systems; provide technical expertise relating to the design, installation, and configuration of physical and logical network solutions; support faculty, staff, and students, and, computers, applications, systems, devices, phone system, wireless, access, and hardware issues; and serve as secondary point of contact for data backup, replication, recovery, and telecom maintenance and management. Occasional evenings and weekends.
Successful candidates will possess all or many of the following qualifications and/or skills: Bachelor’s degree required or at least one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and a minimum of one year of related experience; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware Certified Professional, and Microsoft certifications required, A+, Network+, and CompTIA A+ preferred; knowledge of network infrastructure and equipment, network topology (WAN circuits, telecom rack and patch panel equipment), computer hardware and software systems including operating systems; ability to upgrade hardware and software in enterprise environment and configure switches; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; excellent communication skills; ability to work as a team as well as independently with minimal direct supervision; ability to troubleshoot; analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; and, ability to interact positively with individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
