WMU-Cooley Law School seeks an Associate Director of Career and Professional Development and Enrollment and Student Services for its Tampa Bay campus located in Riverview, Florida.
The Associate Director of CPD/ESS coordinates and delivers student services in career and professional development, externships, admissions, enrollment, and student disability; assumes primary administrative responsibility for commencement, diversity programs, disability services, new student orientation, student housing referral, veteran programs and international student liaison; assists with exam administration process; assists campus director with campus-related activities, events, student programs, operations support, and human resources, and other ancillary assignments.
Successful candidates will possess all or many of the following qualifications and/or skills: Bachelor’s degree is required, Juris Doctor degree is preferred, or at least three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; and, a minimum of one to three years of experience, experience or exposure to working in a law school or higher education institution is strongly desired; excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, knowledge of Symplicity, Canvas, CAMS, Jenzabar, PowerFaids, HubSpot, and UNITE; ability to learn quickly and function independently; excellent organization and time management skills; strong oral and written communication skills; understand and maintain confidentiality of student information; and ability to interact positively with individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds. The position will require working some evening and weekends. Occasional in and out-of-state travel for recruitment purposes will be necessary.
