WMU-Cooley Students Make Donation to Helen Devos Children’s Hospital

WMU-Cooley Law School student Cody Brock used the NCAA basketball tournament as an opportunity to engage fellow classmates to make a difference in the Grand Rapids community. Brock organized a March Madness bracket challenge with the purpose of collecting funds for a local non-profit organization.

GR March Madness

Law school students chose Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital as the beneficiary of funds raised from the bracket challenge.  A wish list of toys was provided by the hospital, and, on April 5, Brock and fellow WMU-Cooley student Richard Perez delivered toys that hospitalized children had requested and made an additional donation of $102.
