WMU-Cooley Celebrates Graduate Artist Gordon C. Boardman at Holiday Exhibit

Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School celebrated the generous donation of art by one of its graduates, Gordon C. Boardman, at its Lansing campus on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018.

WMU-Cooley hosted a reception to launch the exhibit, which is housed on the 10th floor of the Cooley Center. Boardman, a graduate of WMU-Cooley’s Marston Class in 1978, has been featured in numerous exhibitions, from Detroit to New York, receiving accolades from notable critics throughout the country. Boardman was featured on the cover of the Winter 2016 issue of Benchmark.

“Gordon is a talented artist, who continues to give back to his community in Kalamazoo, as well as the WMU-Cooley community. He generously donated a substantial art collection to his law school,” said Pam Heos, director of alumni and donor relations, and curator of the collection. “We are honored to host this reception for Gordon and are grateful for his dedication to WMU-Cooley.”
