19th Annual WMU-Cooley for Kids Day Celebrated at Lugnuts Game

Students, faculty and staff from WMU-Cooley Law School’s Lansing campus hosted youth from Lansing Parks and Recreation summer program at WMU-Cooley Law School Stadium on July 29.  The 19th annual WMU-Cooley for Kids Day featured an afternoon of activities including an opportunity to meet Lansing Lugnuts baseball players and eat lunch at the stadium while watching the Lansing Lugnuts play against the South Bend Cubs.

Before the day at the ballpark, participants from the recreation program had an opportunity to be selected as a member of a “dream team.” The winners, along with a WMU-Cooley Law School student, ran onto the field during the game’s opening introductions.
