ATTEND LAW SCHOOL IN KALAMAZOO
WMU-Cooley’s Kalamazoo location is on the main campus of Western Michigan University — a top-tier national university that has become a global leader in research. After receiving the green light by the American Bar Association in 2018 to offer 60 of 90 credits at Western Michigan’s main campus, WMU-Cooley Law School began allowing students to earn the equivalent of two years of course study in Kalamazoo before finishing their final year – 30 credits – at any of WMU-Cooley's other locations. The juris doctor curriculum at the Kalamazoo location blends classroom knowledge with hands-on legal experience, transforming law students into exceptional lawyers.
About the Kalamazoo Location
WMU-Cooley Law School’s Kalamazoo location is on the campus of Western Michigan University. Classes are held in Schneider Hall, located in the Haworth College of Business. Law students in Kalamazoo benefit from Western Michigan’s education facilities, libraries, music, sports, and campus activities.

Tracey Brame — Associate Dean of Kalamazoo Location
Associate Dean Tracey Brame came to WMU-Cooley Law School in February 2006 from Legal Aid of Western Michigan, where she was a staff attorney. She advised and represented low-income clients on family law, housing, and consumer law issues. She also translated for Spanish-speaking clients. Previously, Dean Brame served as a staff attorney for Public Defender Services for the District of Columbia, a research and writing specialist with the Federal Defender Office, and an assistant defender with the State Appellate Defender Office in Detroit. She has served as a law clerk to the Hon. Julian Abele Cook, Jr., U.S. District Court, Detroit, with the Federal Defender Office, and with Scott Correctional Facility. She has also been an adjunct professor at Grand Rapids Community College.
Victoria Vuletich — Assistant Dean of Kalamazoo Location
Assistant Dean Victoria Vuletich joined the full-time WMU-Cooley faculty in 2008 after working for nearly a decade with the State Bar of Michigan. She has expertise in legal ethics, the regulation of the legal profession and drafting and proposing administrative rules relating to the legal profession. She also has expertise in the restructuring of the legal profession and its implications for the profession and the public. Dean Vuletich is a former chairperson of the American Bar Association (ABA) Center for Professional Responsibility Continuing Legal Education Committee. She was a member of the ABA Standing Committee on Client Protection 2004-2008. She is a member of the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility Policy Implementation Committee. Most recently, Vuletich was a guest lecturer at Hertford College, Oxford University, United Kingdom.
