Take advantage of a top public research university and all it has to offer: great facilities, libraries, music, sports, student recreation, and campus activities. WMU-Cooley Law School received the green light from the American Bar Association in August 2018 to expand its course offerings to 60 credits on WMU's main campus in Kalamazoo, Michigan. With 60 available credits, students can earn the equivalent of two years of course study in Kalamazoo before finishing their final year – 30 credits – at any of WMU-Cooley's other locations.

  • Contracts I (3 credits)
  • Criminal Law (3 credits)
  • Property I (3 credits)
  • Constitutional Law I (3 credits)
  • Introduction to Law (no credit - no cost)
  • Professional Development Series I (no credit - no cost)

Most required courses will be offered in Kalamazoo during either the fall (September) or spring (January) semester.  Exceptions are Equities and Remedies, Drafting, and Bar Exam Skills, which are offered at all other campus locations. First-term courses at Kalamazoo are offered only during the fall semester, and while no summer courses are offered at Kalamazoo, students may take summer courses at other campus locations.
