Director of Campus Administration, Michigan

B.A. Eastern Michigan University
J.D. University of Detroit School of Law

I joined WMU-Cooley Law School Lansing Campus in 2004 as an Assistant Director of the Career and Professional Development Office. I immediately enjoyed working with students and helping them develop their career paths. I continued in this role until 2010 when I relocated to the new Ann Arbor campus to become its Deputy Director and then its Campus Director in 2011. In 2015, I returned to the Lansing campus to continue my role as Campus Director and eventually Director of Administration in 2020. As Director of Administration, I work one-on-one with faculty, staff, students, and alumni building a rapport to ensure the campus is operating smoothly and each person has what they need to make WMU Cooley a leader of legal education. In addition to my role as an administrator, I am an adjunct professor teaching Law Practice: Transitioning to Practice.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and then went on to receive my Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit School of Law. I am currently a member of both the State Bar of Michigan and Florida State Bar.

I came to Cooley with 12 years of legal experience as an Associate Attorney with Rickard, Higgins, Denney & Associates, and Law Office of William King, Jr. both in Michigan, Chief Counsel of American Business & Legal Services, Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida, and Vice President/Associate General Counsel of Flagstar Bank, FSB in Troy, Michigan.

I have been involved with local organizations such as the Lansing 5:01, Downtown Lansing Inc., Boy Scouts of America, City of Hollywood Unsafe Structure Board, City of Hollywood Nuisance Abatement Board, and the Lapeer County Probate Commission.
