Take the right steps when applying for financial aid

Step 1

Review WMU-Cooley Law School's tuition and cost of attending here.

Step 2

Pay your Tuition Deposit.

Step 3

You will need to complete:

  • 2021/2022 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • Entrance Counseling
  • Master Promissory Notes:
    - Unsubsidized
    - Grad PLUS-optional loan (Two step process: Master Promissory Note & Application).
  • Complete your financial aid processes at the Federal Student Aid website by clicking the student loan button below. Our school code is G12627.


Step 4

Review your award notice - Students that have paid their tuition deposit will receive an award notice approximately two months before the start of the semester. Students will be notified by email to review and accept their award using the Cooley Connect portal. Associate Directors of Enrollment & Student Services are available to answer questions at 517-371-5140 or at [email protected].
