ATTORNEY Licensing Requirements

Every jurisdiction has licensing requirements for lawyers that include character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar. Applicants and students are encouraged to contact the jurisdiction in which they intend to practice to learn about that jurisdiction's requirements for admission. As an ABA-approved law school, WMU-Cooley's J.D. program satisfies the educational requirements for U.S. jurisdictions.
