Part-time Maintenance/AV Technician (Tampa Bay)

Job Summary

Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School is seeking a part-time Maintenance/AV Technician for its Tampa Bay Campus. Under the direction of the Facilities Superintendent, the Technician will assist the Superintendent in the day-to-day operations of the School. Duties include: provide services to faculty, staff, students and guests; set up, maintain, and assist in the use of AV equipment; perform some light building maintenance duties; setup tables and chairs for events; and report maintenance problems.


High School Diploma or equivalent. Some knowledge of computers and basic software. A general knowledge to work on mechanical equipment, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a valid driver’s license. This position pays $11.00/hour. Working mostly weekends, with occasional week day and evening shifts.
