Job Summary

Western Michigan University Cooley Law School seeks a Campus Director for its Tampa Bay Campus located in Riverview, Florida.  The Campus Director is responsible for operations support, communications, events management, public relations and media initiatives, and human resources.  Provides campus supervision of ESS in the areas of admissions, career and professional development, registration, financial aid, graduation, veterans benefits, and international student programs.  Involved with student services programs including orientation, student organization fair, distinguished and career-related speaker series, and honors convocation.  Responsible for term course schedules and scheduling rooms for classes, events and meetings.  The Campus Director reports to the Associate Dean of the Tampa Bay Campus in cooperation with the Interim Senior VP of Administration, Enrollment and Student Services.


Bachelor’s degree and previous supervisory experience is required.  An advanced degree is preferred.  Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel, experience with other database software a plus; excellent customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism; strong oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multitask; ability to work effectively with students, employees and alumni; occasional evening and weekend hours required.
