About CooleyCooley was founded in 1972 by our President Emeritus, the Honorable Thomas E. Brennan and received American Bar Association approval in 1975. The school's namesake is Thomas McIntyre Cooley, a Michigan Supreme Court Justice who compiled the most distinguished legal record of any man whose name has been associated with the jurisprudence of Michigan.
Cooley is the largest law school in the country with over 14,000 graduates across the nation and worldwide. This private, non-profit law school operates J.D. programs across Michigan in four campus locations: Lansing, Grand Rapids, Auburn Hills, and Ann Arbor. Students can also pursue a graduate (LL.M.) or joint degree.
Cooley offers enrollment three times a year; in January, May and September. Financial Aid is available and many incoming students are offered scholarships through the honors scholarship program. |
