STROSACKER ROOM
Main floor of the Brennan library - named the Strosacker Room
in dedication to the grant the library received from the Strosacker
Foundation
- Resources are available to the Cooley community, and others who require legal research materials
- Treatises, digests, and resource materials, along with a complete set of regional and federal reporters - federal cases in all 50 states - including Michigan law materials - are available in the Strosacker Room
- Research and Writing class tapes, which provide in-depth instructions on how to use the research materials in the library, are located on the first floor
- Students are required to learn through training sessions how to do searches on both Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

HOW MUCH TIME?
Many students ask, "How much time will I spend at the library?" This really depends on how you like to study. In the first term, you will get an overview of the library as well as attend an Information Technology seminar. In the beginning, it’s up to you as to how much time you spend in the library.
