Cooley has some of the most flexible scheduling options of all law schools in the nation, with terms starting in January, May or September, including nights and weekends.

Cooley Law School is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and the Higher Learning Commission - North Central Association, having just been granted continuing accreditation for the next 10 years in May 2006 (The ABA has acquiesced on all three years at all campuses. The HLC has granted Thomas M. Cooley Law School continuing accreditation for the next 10 years. At a meeting of the Commission's Board of Trustees held on May 11, 2006, the Board validated the decision to continue Cooley's accreditation for the maximum time allowed under HLC standards).
