» Read about Cooley's faculty
Cooley Law School has a faculty that has distinguished itself in both scholarly achievement and the practice of law. Each faculty member has been selected for his or her academic background, coupled with experience as a practicing attorney.
With over 100 full-time faculty and over 100 adjunct faculty, Cooley is able to provide students with an education that exposes them to many very experienced practitioners and judges, while maintaining a good student/faculty ratio in reasonable class sizes.
It is Cooley’s mission to prepare its graduates for entry into the legal profession through an integrated program with practical legal scholarship as the guiding principle and focus.
"Cooley Law School is a teaching law school and all of our faculty devote an extraordinary amount of time and attention helping students. Our professors’ love of teaching is what distinguishes this law school faculty from any other law school faculty in the country.”
Charles Cercone, Associate Dean of Faculty and Professor
