Children's Activities
Capitol Dash and Capitol Mile - FREE!

Children 12 and under can participate in the Kids' Capitol Dash (100 yards) or the Children's Capitol Mile before the 5K walk/run. No charge or registration necessary for either of the children's races.

6:45 p.m. - Kids' Capitol Dash (100 yards)
6:50 p.m. - Children's Capitol Mile (1 mile)

T-Shirts: Children's race t-shirts can be purchased during packet pick up or on race day for $5 each. All children's race participants will receive an award and prizes! Regardless of age, all 5K race participants must pay the entry fee.

Fun and Musical Entertainment

Stan Budzynski and 3rd Degree will provide the rhythm & blues musical entertainment.

ChronoTrack®

The ChronoTrack system uses disposable tags called D-Tags to simplify the timing process for athletes. A disposable tag means shorter lines before the race to pick up a bib and chip and no line to return a tag or chip after the race. The D-Tag is easy to attach to a shoe and is far lighter and less intrusive than other timing tags and chips.
