We know that some students
want to augment their legal education with another graduate degree.
Now you can earn a J.D. degree plus a Master of Business Administration
(MBA) or a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Cooley
Law School and Oakland University. The Cooley-Oakland partnership
acknowledges the close connection between business, government and
the law.
If you are admitted to both degree programs and signify your intent
to participate in this special partnership program, you can reduce
the total number of credit hours required to earn both degrees.
Six
hours of designated courses are transferred from Cooley Law School
to Oakland University, and another six credits of approved courses
are transferred from Oakland to Cooley. The result is a total program
reduction of twelve semester hours.
Your professional credentials are doubled. You save twelve credit
hours of tuition. Most important, you earn complementary degrees
from two leading institutions of higher education, acquiring professionally
useful, contemporary knowledge and skills that are not offered in
one degree program alone.
The very desirable outcome is that you
may have a career edge over those who have not taken the second step. |
