Library moved from the Temple building to new location on Washington Avenue.

 

« The former J.C. Penney building in downtown Lansing, before conversion into Cooley's new Law Library. The law school purchased the old building for $700,000.

Alumni Conard Sindt and G. Michael Hocking become Cooley’s first Michigan Court judges.

The Michigan Court of Appeals convenes a special 13-judge panel in the law school’s auditorium.

     
 

« The facility has up-to-the-minute collections which are complimented by a service-oriented staff, including professional librarians with both library science and law degrees.

Ceremonies for the 222 Lawrence Class graduates are held at the Lansing Convention Center.

Ann Miller (now Associate Dean of Planning, Programs & Assessment) was hired as a visiting professor.
