December 4, 2009 - In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Cooley Law School President Don LeDuc initiated a day-long program where all classes would be suspended and students, faculty, and staff would devote the day to study, reflection, and programs on the role of law and lawyers in protecting the rights of minorities and assuring equal protection under law. Cooley student organizations were empowered to develop the programs and activities for the day. [full story]

$6 Million Library Expansion and $2 Million Scholarship Fund

October 20, 2009 –The Thomas M. Cooley Law School announced today that it will spend $6 million to expand its Lansing-campus library and $2 million to create a new scholarship fund for individuals with financial need. Each initiative will be funded, in part, by a newly announced fundraising effort called the Campaign for Knowledge. [full story]
