Cooley Law School Names Director Of Ann Arbor Campus

Cooley Law School announced today the appointment of Allen M. Chung to the position of campus director. Chung will oversee the daily activities of Cooley’s new campus in Ann Arbor.
Chung has served as the assistant director of admissions at Cooley’s Lansing campus since 2003. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Cooley, a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Michigan State University’s James Madison College and an associate’s degree from Lansing Community College.
“I am absolutely delighted with Allen's acceptance of the campus director position,” said Joan Vestrand, associate dean of Cooley’s Ann Arbor campus. “Allen
is a Cooley graduate with genuine love and affection for the law school and its students. His background in admissions and recruiting will be very beneficial. He has worked closely with our students for years and understands their needs and requirements. Allen will be a fantastic leader of the staff, wonderful support
person to the students and effective ambassador on behalf of the school at the Ann Arbor campus."
Located at 3475 Plymouth Road, Cooley’s Ann Arbor campus is an 84,500-square-foot facility that includes a law library, mock appellate and trial courtrooms, and several classrooms. Classes will commence at the Ann Arbor campus in September 2009.
Cooley Law School is the largest law school in the country. Founded in 1972, it operates J.D. programs across Michigan in Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills, Grand Rapids and Lansing. Today, Cooley Law School has more than 13,000 graduates across the nation and worldwide and also offers joint degree and master of laws programs.
