		Applications To Cooley's Grand Rapids Campus Up 26 Percent; Out-of-state students make up 75 percent of application base April 1, 2008 - While applications to law schools across the country and in the Midwest are flat, Thomas M. 		Cooley Law School to Launch Course on Driving Under the Influence Law March 26, 2008 - The Thomas M. Cooley Law School announced today that it will launch a new course in May 2008 regarding driving under the influence law. The course is believed to be one of the first law school courses in the United States to specifically deal with the law as it relates to driving under the influence. Cooley Law School students were recently named champions in the regional round of the American Association for Justice's Student Trial Advocacy Competition (STAC), for the second straight year, held in Seattle, advancing Cooley to the National Finals. 		U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy To Teach At Auburn Hills Campus March 19, 2008 - The Thomas M. Cooley Law School announced today that Stephen Murphy, Eastern District U.S. attorney, will teach as a visiting professor at the Auburn Hills campus, 2630 Featherstone Road, beginning this May. Cooley Law School today announced Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Leo Bowman as the second speaker in this year's "Integrity in our Communities" lecture series. 		Cooley's Annual 5K Race for Education Set for June 6 February 29, 2008 - The Thomas M. Cooley Law School announced today that it will hold its ninth annual Race for Education on Friday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Lansing. 		Senior Official At U.S. Attorney's Office To Join Cooley Law School February 22, 2008 - Alan Gershel, chief of the U.S. Attorney's Office-Eastern Michigan District Criminal Division, will join the school's faculty as a Visiting Professor in May.
