Prominent Sports Agent Kevin Poston Speaks at Annual Soifer Memorial Lecture
October 10, 2013 - On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s Lansing campus hosted the Eighth Annual Howard Soifer Memorial Lecture in Sports and Entertainment Law.
The lecture featured guest speaker Kevin Poston, president and CEO of Detroit-area based DEAL Elite Athletic Management. Poston, a graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, represents numerous National Football League players and prides himself on helping clients become financially secure in the short and long term by developing them as role models, businessmen and philanthropists.
Poston spoke about legal issues affecting sports professionals and shared his personal experience as an adviser to NFL players.
The lecture series is endowed by family, partners and peers of the late Howard Soifer to honor his memory.
