Cooley Alumni Meet in Washington, D.C.

Cooley alumni gathered in Washington, D.C., on November 7th for a Pre-Turkey Trot social. Team Cooley was formed in support of SOME (So Others May Eat) as an fundraising initiative for the Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot throughout Washington, D.C.

The Turkey Trot proceeds benefited the Washington DC area homeless and hungry. Team Cooley participated through donations and actual participation in the 5K Walk. Organizers Patrick Griffin, Denise Sylvester and Michael Marcum hope to make this an annual Team Cooley event.

Founded in 1972, the Thomas M. Cooley Law School is a private, nonprofit, independent law school accredited by the American Bar Association and the Higher Learning Commission. Cooley has provided its more than 15,000 graduates with the practical skills necessary for a seamless transition from academia to the real world. Cooley offers its Juris Doctor program, Joint Degree programs, and Master of Laws programs three times a year with enrollment in January, May and September. Cooley Law School has campuses across Michigan in Lansing, Auburn Hills, Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor, and its new campus in Tampa Bay, Florida.  Additional information about Cooley can be found at cooley.edu.
