Cooley to host 7th annual Criminal Defense Trial Practice College from August 20 – 25

Thomas M. Cooley Law School Professor Marjorie Russell leads a training session in preparation for the 7th annual Trial Practice College, a joint program of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM) and Cooley Law School. The Trial Practice College, held at Cooley’s Lansing campus from Aug. 20 – 25, 2010, is a low-cost, week-long training program designed to promote defense advocacy and teach practical trial skills based on the experience of seasoned veterans. Participants not only learn through lectures by nationally recognized trial lawyers, but also apply what they have learned in daily small-group training sessions. Under the instruction of the workshop faculty, participants engage in individual performances and receive feedback and analysis from the workshop faculty.
