Judge Greg Mathis to Help Cooley Kick Off New Scholarship Fund
Thomas M. Cooley Law School announces the inauguration of a campaign to raise funds for the new "Balancing the Scales" scholarship, to be awarded to deserving Cooley students who are members of the Black Law Students Association at Cooley's Auburn Hills campus. To kick off the scholarship, the law school proudly presents the Hon. Greg Mathis of the "Judge Mathis Show," who will speak at the inaugural fundraiser dinner on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at 6 p.m. at the Heathers Club of Bloomfield Hills. WDIV-TV news anchor Rhonda Walker will serve as emcee of the event. Tickets are $75 per person ($60 for Cooley students). Proceeds will go to the "Balancing the Scales Fund" at the law school.
