Cooley Law School Names Head Of Public Services For Ann Arbor Campus Library

The Thomas M. Cooley Law School has named Timothy J. Innes as the head of public services for the Ann Arbor campus library. Innes will direct all library activities and supervise circulation and reference staff. He also will be responsible for day-to-day operations and will be involved in reaching out to the community and expanding the library’s collection.
"Tim will be instrumental in developing a library that is a comprehensive resource for students and faculty at the Ann Arbor campus, from teaching essential research skills and providing a conductive studying environment to expanding the library's collection," Associate Dean of Library and Instructional Support Duane Strojny said. "His experience at Cooley will be invaluable as he leads our efforts at the new location."
Innes joined Cooley Law School in 1994. He previously served as a reference and outreach services librarian, a circulation librarian, and a reference assistant at the Lansing campus.
Innes received a bachelor’s degree in history from Michigan State University, a master's degree in library science from Wayne State University and a juris doctor degree from Cooley Law School. Innes lives Okemos, Mich. with his wife and son.
Cooley Law School is the largest law school in the nation. Founded in 1972, it operates J.D. programs across Michigan in Lansing, Auburn Hills, Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor. Today, Cooley Law School has nearly 14,000 graduates across the nation and worldwide and also offers joint degree and master of laws programs.
