At the end of each term of the Michigan Supreme Court, after an opinion has been issued, the attorneys' briefs are bound. These bound volumes are loaned to the library by the court. Researchers may find it helpful to read the briefs filed with the court in drafting arguments for similar cases. Briefs from the U.S. Supreme Court might also be helpful and are in the microfiche area.
