• Access is for EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY and does not extend to use for personal practice or commercial purposes.
• Passwords can be obtained through the Associate Director for Library and Instructional Support at ext. 3402 or by contacting your library's reference desk.
• The Cooley Law Libraries provide training and support for both services.

For more information, or to obtain assistance with either a password or online search, please consult your liaison or the Reference desk.
TWEN
TWEN or The West Educational Network, is a virtual classroom support software created and maintained by Westlaw. This service is open to all Cooley faculty and adjuncts and is accessed via your Cooley Westlaw password. The library offers training and support for TWEN. If you would like more information or training, please contact the Associate Director for Library and Instructional Support at ext. 3402 or the Library Web Technician at ext. 3312.
EXAMS ON THE NETWORK AND IN THE LIBRARY
The Library has a restrictive policy regarding Thomas M. Cooley exam material. Students have access to this material dating from 1996 to the present. Exam material produced before 1996 is archived. Exam material is defined as Exams, Answer Guides, Model Answers and Blue Books. Students gain access to exam material in three Library locations:
Unless expressly released by faculty, multiple choice examination questions are not part of our collection.
Please contact Lou Ann Hall, Exams Coordinator, at ext. 2950 for complete details concerning submitting exams. Some general guidelines include:
-
Submit documents that are 100% word processed. If there are any graphics or handwritten notes, exams are more difficult to scan into the system and clean up after the conversion process.
-
Submit clean documents - no margin notes or comments (if possible). Submit comments in typed format attached to the end of a document.
-
Transcribe submitted Bluebook Award exams and your written comments. All student-authored works should be accompanied by a written permission statement from the student.
Although you must submit exams to the Dean's office, we also encourage you to create exam packs and/or make exam study materials beyond the questions themselves available for students through the Cooley Bookstore and its Cooley Prints program.
