How do I Add a Class to TWEN

TWEN is Westlaw's online educational classroom service. Most of your professors use TWEN to place course materials, organize discussion forums and email groups and individuals. You need to register your Westlaw password before you can use TWEN.

1. From Westlaw’s law school homepage you will see the TWEN link shown above. Select this tab and enter either your Westlaw password or your personalized password. You will then be directed to the page shown below:

1. At first, you will not see any Course listed below the section entitled My Courses. You must first select your courses by clicking on the Add a Course button.

You will then see a listing of courses as depicted below:

Check the boxes of the courses you need and click on Submit at the bottom of the page.

2. You will then see a list of your courses below the section entitled My Courses. Click on the course’s hyperlink to enter the course. Each course may look slightly different depending on how the professor has set up his or her course.

I need some extra help.

If you are having any difficulties, you have a few options at your disposal.

1. Westlaw student representatives are often on duty in the computer lab to assist you with any of your questions.

2. The reference librarians may be contacted in person, phone, email or by chat.
