Welcome! On behalf of the entire Library staff, we are excited about your arrival at Cooley Law School! With three locations to serve you, the libraries are staffed by experienced professionals and a dedicated support staff that will help enhance your legal education. Our Reference Desks are staffed seven days a week by librarians, we offer both chat and email reference so you have access to us from the comfort of your home, and in a national first, we have a toll-free reference number that puts us at your fingertips wherever you are in the United States.

A combined collection of over one-half a million volumes and nearly ten miles of shelving serve as an unbelievable treasure for legal research. Together with an array of electronic services, first-class legal research is at your disposal. From historical legislative materials in digital format to modern day treatises on the legal hot topics of today, the Library is constantly working to provide you with materials that will satisfy your research needs.

Finally, despite the growth of electronic services, the Library still functions as a building. Comfortable seating, study rooms, and computer access are hallmarks of each of the locations. Bring your laptop and stay a while; all locations have wireless network access. Find the perfect study carrel and make yourself at home. Questions are expected and one of our goals is to teach you to be the most effective legal researchers possible. The Library Staff is here to help!
