The Thomas M. Cooley Law libraries' website offers you a variety of information resources. You will find that it is an invaluable gateway to print and online legal resources. This guide intends to briefly familiarize you with the libraries’ website and the resources found within its layers by detailing a few of its links along with useful information provided for your benefit.

When you have arrived at the libraries’ Main page by either typing in www.cooley.edu/library or by clicking the library link found on Thomas M. Cooley's main webpage, you will be provided with various options as shown in the screen below:

1. Under the Resources heading is where you will find the link to the libraries’ online Catalog, CoolCat. CoolCat is where you will be able to search all three Cooley libraries’ holdings, access our Electronic Resources, View your Patron Record and other information and sources available to you.
2. The Ask a Librarian link provides you with the various methods available to you to contact a reference librarian with a particular research question.

Online Catalog (CoolCat)

1. The Search the Catalog buttons allows you to search the entire Thomas M. Cooley libraries' collection through various methods. (Please see the CoolCat Tips page) for more information on how to conduct a search.)
2.The Quick Links section offers you important information to assist you in conducting research including databases the libraries subscribe to under the Electronic Resources link. You may also find that the Research Guides link may also lead to an invaluable and time saving resource on various areas of law.
3. The My CoolCat link allows you to view your library account and access your Westlaw and Lexis ID numbers. It also allows you to renew items checked out and view their due date and if any fines are owed.
