Part-time Maintenance/AV Technician

Job Location: Auburn Hills Campus

Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School is seeking a part-time Maintenance/AV Technician for its Auburn Hills Campus. Under the direction of the Facilities Superintendent, the Technician will assist the Superintendent in the day to day operations of the School.  Duties include: provide services to faculty, staff, students and guests; set up, maintain and assistant in the use of AV equipment; perform some light building maintenance duties; setup tables and chairs for events; and report maintenance problems.


High School Diploma or equivalent.  Some knowledge of computers and basic software.  A general knowledge to work on mechanical equipment, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.  Must have a valid drivers license.  This position pays $11.00/hour. Working mostly weekends, with occasional week day and evening shifts.
