Cooley's Auburn Hills campus is located in the heart of Oakland County where more than 100 Fortune 500 companies have their headquarters or major business operations.
There is a wide variety of housing options available to students who choose to enroll at the Auburn Hills campus; these options range from traditional one and two bedroom apartments to condos/townhouses to homes for rent. Students will find all of these options situated in a county that has 1,468 lakes and 11 county parks that provide a wide range of recreational opportunities. Through established partnerships, Cooley students also have the option of living in student housing (University Student Apartments) on the campus of Oakland University (OU). OU’s rolling 1,441 acre campus offers all of the amenities of a major university to approximately 18,000+ undergraduate and graduate students.
Students enrolled at the Auburn Hills campus will also find themselves just a short freeway drive away from the sports, music, and other arts and entertainment opportunities of the Motor City, host to Superbowl XL, Major League Baseball’s 2005 All-Star Game, and the NBA basketball finals at the Palace of Auburn Hills, home of the Detroit Pistons.
Note: Students enrolling at the Auburn Hills campus who will not have their own vehicle should consider the option of living in the student housing at Oakland University. This option would allow students to take advantage of the on campus dining options as well as access the SMART Bus (route list | map) that travels between the Oakland University campus and the entrance to Cooley's Auburn Hills campus (approx. 3 miles). |
