At this stage of your application process it is not uncommon that you would have several questions regarding how to finance your legal education. We have designed this web site to help you in the process of applying for Financial Aid.

 What you need to do:
Process for Incoming Students to receive financial aid.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Our school code is, G12627, and carefully review your Student Aid Report (SAR).
arrow Review the cost of attending Cooley Law School.
Pay your Admissions Tuition Deposit.
Complete Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling online.
Select a Federal Stafford Lender and complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) with your chosen lender. Tips on choosing a lender >
Review your Award Letter - Once you receive notification of your award, read through the information carefully. Also once you receive your log in information for the Cooley Portal you will be able to access your Financial Aid online.

 What's Work Study?
Work-study is a Federally funded program where a student can earn money by working a part-time job, usually at the college or university the student is attending or at an approved nonprofit organization. Students individual eligibility depends upon financial need, assistance received from other financial aid programs, and availability of funds.
