What's Work Study?

Work-study is a Federally funded program where a student can earn money by working a part-time job, usually at the college or university the student is attending or at an approved nonprofit organization. Students individual eligibility depends upon financial need, assistance received from other financial aid programs, and availability of funds.

How Incoming Students Receive
Financial Aid

1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.

carefully review your Student Aid Report (SAR).

2. Review the budget/cost of attending Cooley Law School.

3. Pay your Admissions Tuition Deposit.

4. Select a Federal Stafford Lender and complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) with your chosen lender. Tips on choosing a lender »

5. Complete Combined Stafford & Grad PLUS Entrance Counseling.

6. Review your Award Letter - Once you receive notification of your award, read through the information carefully. If you have questions or need to make changes, contact finaid@cooley.edu.
