Professor Scott joins the fulltime Cooley faculty after serving as a Visiting Professor teaching Contracts I and II.
Previously he was an administrative law judge, presiding over special education and unemployment hearings with Michigan's State Office of Administrative Hearing and Rules. From 2002 to 2005, Professor Scott was Division Director, Business and Field Operations for MESSA, the Michigan Education Special Services Association in East Lansing, Mich. Professor Scott worked for Blue Care Network of Michigan 1996-2002, serving as Director, Project Management and Process Improvement, Senior Corporate Advisor, and Chief Operating Officer.
He has also served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Vice President of Planning and Development for FHC Managed Health Care Services, Inc., in Norfolk, Va.; Chief Financial Officer for North Detroit General Hospital in Detroit, Mich., and in a variety of management capacities for United American Healthcare Corp./OmniCare Health Plan in Detroit.
He teaches Contracts I, Contracts II, and Sales.
