Before joining Cooley's full-time faculty, Professor Marks practiced law in the Lansing area, concentrating in the areas of tort, contract, and insurance law. She also served as an adjunct professor at Cooley, teaching Scholarly Writing and Advanced Research and Writing.
In law school, she was a member of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. She also won several American Jurisprudence Awards.
Professor Marks teaches Contracts I, Contracts II, and Sales and Negotiable Instruments.
