Professor Gustafson joined the full-time faculty at Cooley Law School in 2014. She has served as a Visiting Professor and coordinator for the Academic Resource Center since 2008, coordinating and teaching Introduction to Law classes, skills seminars, and Legal Research and Writing.

She has also served as a legal research specialist for LexisNexis, 2000-2008, a grading assistant 2005-2008, and an adjunct instructor.

From 2000-2001 Professor Gustafson was an attorney with Mahjoory, Mahjoory, and Beery, PLC, where she worked primarily on personal injury, criminal defense, and family law matters.

At Cooley, Professor Gustafson teaches Introduction to Law and Research & Writing.
