Professor Dunbar joined the fulltime faculty at Cooley Law School in January 2013, following two years as a Visiting Professor. She is a faculty specialist with Cooley’s Academic Resource Center (ARC), where she works with students on improving their law school skills, teaches Introduction to Law, and conducts seminars and workshops for the ARC.

Professor Dunbar previously served as Deputy Director of ARC, 2006-2011, primarily working with students on skill building. She also served as an adjunct professor for Pretrial Skills, and Introduction to Law.

Before joining the Cooley faculty, Professor Dunbar served as a law clerk for Judge Louise Alderson in 54-A District Court in Lansing, briefly practiced as an associate attorney with Jeffries & Newton in East Lansing, MI, and then practiced as a solo practitioner.
