Students are encouraged to visit the Career and Professional Development Office in the first year of law school and to continue the career development process through graduation and beyond.
Job Listings
The Student Edition of the Cooley Classifieds is a comprehensive weekly publication of volunteer, summer internships, work study and part-time employment openings throughout the world. The Cooley Classifieds are updated every Friday on the Cooley Portal.
Career Counseling
Personal appointments are encouraged for students and alumni. Topics of discussion may include:

We have a variety of career-related resources such as: resume, interviewing, and internship books; job search directories; legal newspapers and magazines; and commercial job listings. Most of our resources are available for checkout with your Cooley student or alumni ID.

Online Resources
All of our resources are included in Cooley's online library database. You can search the database by title, author, subject, or keyword by clicking the link below.
We've also created a Legal Job Hunting Sources Guide listing websites where legal employment job listings are posted on a regular basis.
We also publish a Job Bulletin Exchange that provides information on accessing other law school’s online job bulletins.
