John Zevalking, a Cooley GR student, shares his perspective of his law school journey during the Building Dedication Ceremony in Grand Rapids on November 30.

A toast was raised to celebrate the completion of Cooley Law School's new Law Center in downtown Grand Rapids on November 30. The building dedication featured a welcoming address from Marion Hilligan, Associate Dean of the Grand Rapids Campus; comments from Cooley Law School President and Dean Don LeDuc; and remarks from GR Cooley student John Zevalking, who related that Cooley's presence in Grand Rapids made it possible for him to attend law school.

The five-story Law Center was constructed in a renovated manufacturing warehouse in the Heartside neighborhood of Grand Rapids. The Law Center contains a law library, four large classrooms, many smaller classrooms, courtrooms, faculty and staff offices, a student lounge, and student organization offices.
