Cooley Law School's Grand Rapids Campus was represented at the Celebration of the Book event at the Grand Rapids Public Library on Saturday, October 21, 2006. Sponsored by the Grand Rapids Public Library Ryerson Library foundation, the Celebration is an exploration of all things literary.

The public library invited all the academic libraries in the West Michigan area to have a table and showcase their literary programs. The Cooley table spotlighted faculty scholarship with biographies of faculty members and some of their works and also provided information about the ALA traveling exhibit on Abraham Lincoln that will be at Cooley's Brennan Law library next year.

Other institutions present, in addition to Cooley, were Grand Rapids Community College, Aquinas College, Cornerstone University, Grand Valley State University, Hope College, and Davenport University.
