GR Cooley Students Volunteer
in Community Agencies

Cooley student Candace Daunis, a volunteer at the Legal Assistance Center, confers with a staff member while serving a client.

Cooley student Michelle Lupanoff gets advice on meeting with clients of the Hispanic Center of West Michigan from supervising professor Don Petersen.

Cooley students enrolled at the Grand Rapids Campus gain valuable legal experience by volunteering at several GR agencies. Many students work at the Grand Rapids Legal Assistance Center, where they help litigants without lawyers to find the forms and resources they need to navigate the court system. Other students assist clients at Degage Ministries and the Hispanic Center of West Michigan, under the supervision of a Cooley professor.
