The Volunteer Committee of the GR Student Bar Association led a successful disaster relief drive to benefit International Aid and the Humane Society of Kent County. Two large bins that were placed in the Student Lounge for collections were filled to capacity with donations of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, pet leashes and collars, blankets, dog and cat treats, and paper towels. All of the items collected will go to help those who have been affected by the recent hurricanes in the U.S. and the earthquake overseas. As a thank you to the Cooley community, the Volunteer Committee hosted a pizza party on November 16, marking the end of a successful campaign.
