From the east (Lansing): Take I-96 west to left lane merge with I-196. Exit I-196 at US-131 south (Kalamazoo - a left lane exit.) Move to right lane. Travel south on US-131 and exit at Market Avenue (exit 85A). Proceed straight through to stop sign at Cherry & Ionia. The Law Center is located one block east and one block north at 111 Commerce SW. Parking is available in the parking ramp adjacent to the law school accessible from Cherry St., in the Area #5 City parking lot located at the NW corner of Ionia and Cherry, or at metered parking on Ionia, Cherry, Commerce, and Oakes.
From the north: Travel south on US-131 to Downtown Grand Rapids and exit at Market Avenue (exit 85A). Proceed straight at the end of the exit ramp, and through to the stop sign at Cherry & Ionia. The Law Center is located one block east and one block north at 111 Commerce SW. From the south: Travel north on US-131 to the Downtown Grand Rapids/Business US-131 exit (84B.) Near the end of the ramp turn right on Cherry Street. Go one block to lonia Avenue. From the west: Take either 1-96 east or 1-196 east to US-131 south. Travel south on US-131 and exit at Market Avenue (exit 85A). Proceed straight through to stop sign at Cherry & Ionia. Driving Directions from the Cooley Law School Grand Rapids campus to the Lansing Campus
Take I-196 east until it merges with I-96 and continue on I-96 east. Merge onto I-496 east via exit number 95 toward downtown Lansing. Take the Pine-Walnut Streets/downtown exit. After you exit, go straight for about 0.2 mile and then turn left onto Walnut Street. Turn right at the third traffic light onto Allegan Street. Take Allegan 2 blocks to Capitol Avenue. Turn right onto Capitol Avenue. The Cooley School building will be on the left. The Cooley Center will be one half block further south on Capitol on the righthand (west) side of the street.
