Welcome! As a Grand Rapids student, you will be a member of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Grand Rapids Student Bar Association (GR SBA). The GR SBA is comprised of student elected officers and class representatives and promotes academic and social interaction among the students, faculty, and administration of the Grand Rapids campus. The GR SBA, like the GR campus, is young and growing, which means that the opportunities for student involvement are limitless.

Each term students can participate in the God's Kitchen food drive or volunteer along with other Cooley students to help Habitat for Humanity. Students are also encouraged to pursue their academic interests through student organizations. Last term, several GR students formed their own chapter of the Federalist Society. Other students contributed to the school-wide newspaper, The Pillar. Many more opportunities await those who want to make the most of their law school experience.
