Joanna also explored and enjoyed challenging professional-preparation activities including Law Review, student organizations, and volunteer work. She tailored her research by working for professors who allowed her to contribute to Supreme Court briefs. She also obtained and completed a prestigious clerkship for a federal appeals court judge and had her Law Review article published.

Joanna immediately passed the Florida bar and accepted a court counsel/staff attorney position at a Florida appellate court where she now carries out her career mission of public service.
Joanna’s pre-law undergraduate studies kindled her vision to serve our government. She always had an interest in politics and felt a law degree was the next step. At Cooley, Joanna mastered law school academics and won the Distinguished Student Award, Raymond Burr Award, and several Certificates of Merit.
