Application Procedure

The Thomas M. Cooley Law School is a member of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), the association of law schools that administers the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) and provides the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS).

We recommend that all persons interested in applying to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School follow these general application guidelines:

Take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). You may take the LSAT as many times as you would like. Thomas Cooley will use your highest LSAT score for determining admissions.
Register with the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS). You may receive information about Law Services by going to the Web site at www.lsac.org or by calling (215) 968-1001.
Once you have taken the LSAT and registered with LSDAS, determine your admissions index using the Thomas Cooley Admissions Formula.
Once you have carefully read the printed version of the Cooley application (You can print out the application in PDF format) and you have carefully read the importance of character, fitness, and full disclosure, you may begin the online application process.

There is no application fee.
