General Practice Concentration

This concentration will appeal to those students who plan to serve a wide range of clients and legal matters in a small to medium size firm setting or solo practice. These lawyers will be likely to handle estate planning, real estate transactions, family law, commercial law and contracts, criminal matters, and personal injury matters. Their clients will consist of the general public and small business owners. Emphasis will be on effective counseling. Likely clinical placements will be in small to medium size law firms, judicial clerkships, or legal aid offices and include the Sixty Plus Inc. Elderlaw Clinic.
